comfortable stay with room for improvement
The staff made us feel valued and appreciated throughout our stay, with Kath being especially friendly and eager to help. The room proved to be impeccable and offered a very peaceful retreat, complemented by thoughtful touches like fresh milk in the fridge.
The annex layout somewhat limited access to communal areas, which could be inconvenient preferring proximity.

The Queen Room was clean and bright, nicely decorated with some cute touches. The bed was super comfy and the room was spacious. A small fridge and a full-length mirror would’ve been handy though. A bit noisy at times, but the location is really convenient for exploring Bowness.

Absolutely loved the beautifully clean and comfortable Queen Room, Disability Access, with tea and coffee replenished daily during our four-night stay. The friendly host checked in on us often, adding a personal touch. Although the establishment didn't serve food, the inviting pub atmosphere and lovely beer garden provided a cozy spot to bring our own meals. I faced issues with the room's lack of WiFi details and a persistent beeping noise that disrupted our sleep.

This was just a commendable fit for a weekend breather in Bowness-on-Windermere with good price value. The half-inch gap in the bathroom window made for an interesting view, although not the best to look at.
